For FW’s premier product, the Skyus, I wanted to create something a little more fun than just your standard technical sheet. I worked with a copywriter to come up with a unique, playful tone which was paired with strong imagery and a minimalist layout.

For this brochure, I did the photography and layout. To illustrate the compact size of the Skyus product, I opted to do something unconventional by creating a photo illustration of a hummingbird perched on the device. Not only does the scale of a tiny hummingbird show relative size, it also symbolizes speed with its rapid 50x per second wing flapping. This metaphor ties into the idea of the Skyus’ high-speed connectivity.
