These photos required careful in-camera composition to mimic the look of an isometric projection in a 3D program. Each component was photographed separately with careful attention to the camera position and lighting. Some components were propped to appear to be floating. Once the images were taken and edited, I began stitching the images together in Photoshop layer by layer. Getting the perspective just right is difficult, but with some Photoshop trickery, the final images appear to be highly realistic 3D renders.
