This gift was designed as a short-run custom light for select clients of FW. The light features a geometric milled walnut base, LED lights, and a sand blasted and etched acrylic light bulb. It melds together the traditional feel of wood with a modern feel of acrylic.

For this piece, I worked in Illustrator to create the design for the laser engraved acrylic. For the base, I created a 3D model of the wood design which gave the manufacturer a close concept of the desired finished product. I worked with an electrical engineer on the wiring design and wired up 25 lights in the span of several days.

With a tight deadline, complicated design, and custom wiring, this was one of my most ambitious and equally fun projects.
