About Me
I am a maker by nature and an Associate Creative Director by day, with 15 years of experience in graphic design and creative direction. My areas of focus are responsive web design, brand strategy, and food and beverage packaging.
With a diverse background in design and creative direction at multiple agencies and tech startups, I understand that effective branding is more than just a nice layout. Branding is communication rooted in strategy and delivered with purpose. As a Creative Director I encourage designers to be better communicators, from writing, to public speaking, to building empathy and listening.
Print Design
I am fluent in pre-press print production and specialize in food and beverage packaging, catalog and brochure layout, environmental graphics and more. I love crafting tactile experiences using illustration, photography, and storytelling.
Photography
I have a degree in Photojournalism and over 13 years of experience in product and lifestyle photography. I am addicted to Photoshop and love to make photo composites by mixing photography and illustration.
Web Design
I’ve designed 75+ web concepts for eCommerce, non-profit, and commercial organizations in the Pacific Northwest. I collaboratively work with developers to code responsive sites from scratch on WordPress, Squarespace, and Shopify platforms.
